It’s now or never

"Avoiding the phrase “I don’t have time...”, will soon help you to realize that you do have the time needed for just about anything you choose to accomplish in life."
- Bo Bennett

Once upon a time, a man stopped at a flower shop to order flowers to send to his mother who lived in a city two hundred miles away.
As he got out of his car he noticed a young girl sitting on the curb sobbing.
“What’s wrong?” he asked her and she replied, "I wanted to buy a red rose for my mother. But I only have seventy-five cents, and one red rose costs two dollars."

The man smiled and said, "Come on in with me. We'll buy you a rose for your mother."
He bought the little girl her rose and ordered flowers to be sent to his own mother. As they were leaving the flower shop, he offered little girl a ride home.

She said, "Yes, please! If it is a not too much trouble for you, please take me to my mother."

She told him the directions and in the end, they found themselves in front of a cemetery. The man followed the girl inside the cemetery, where she placed the rose on a freshly dug grave.

Seeing this, the man immediately returned to the flower shop, canceled the shipping order, picked up a bouquet himself, and drove the two hundred miles to his mother's house.

Wow, that was amazing! I read that and instantly got hooked...Did you write this yourself, or did you find it from somewhere?

No, I did not write any of the stories here. They are mostly folk stories from around the world or, like this one, stories with anonymous authors.
Thanks for visiting...
